ServSafe® Food Managers Certification Course/Exam

Keep your management team up to date with the latest in National Food Safety Standards as well as meet the HI DoH regulation of having a PIC on duty that has attained an ANSI recognized Certificate.. The ServSafe Food Managers Certificate is a full 1 day course where the theory and practices of current Food Safety are reviewed.
The course starts with the student receiving the course book and a self-diagnostic quiz to be completed before the class. The class starts at 7:30am and finishes at 3pm. The exam starts at 3:30, where the student has 2 hours to complete the exam. The exam consists of 90 multiple choice questions, and the passing score is 75. The student will be able to access and print their own score and certificate. Certificates are valid for 5 years, and are nationally recognized. Scores are available 10-14 days after the course completes.
Classes are given in facilities that follow the current social distancing regulations, and masks and a photo ID is required. Students need to be pre-registered, special accommodations may be available, and xexam books in several additional languages are available.
Costs are $190 plus tax per student, and include the course book, the course and exam . A special discount for Hawaii Restaurant Association members is $15 off for each student. A portion of this charge is donated to the HRA Educational Foundation – benefiting Hawaii’s future restaurant professionals.
Having your management team possess the Food Managers Certificate, along with your Food Handlers taking the ServSafe Food Handlers course, is a major criteria to attain the ServSafe Dining Commitment sign for your front door and media. This shows your customers that your restaurant follows the high standards set by the National Restaurant Association
