HONOLULU (KHON2) — It’s been a slow start to the holidays but it is starting to pick up for the restaurant industry.
“It’s on the heels of the pandemic, of the Lahaina fires or the back to back strikes for the hotels, but I think everyone, for the most part, is remaining resilient and positive,” stated Ryan Tanaka, Owner of Giovanni Pastrami.
Restaurant owners stated they’ve had to adapt to changing consumer behavior.
