Honolulu Outdoor Dining Program

In a move to support our local restaurants as we continue down the long road to economic recovery, the City and County of Honolulu has put the City’s previously temporary sidewalk dining program into law in Ord. 22-19 (Bill 27 (2022), CD2), which is the City’s outdoor dining services pilot program that will last for two years.

With Honolulu’s unique, beautiful weather, the Outdoor Dining Pilot Program is a step in the right direction by supporting our restaurant communities and the desire by the public to eat outdoors. This pilot will provide an economic boost for restaurants and provide a fun option when dining out.

DTS is implementing the outdoor dining services pilot program and will be issuing permits to applicants.
