James Beard Foundation – Industry Research Study

The James Beard Foundation is conducting a research study to better understand what the future of the industry looks like, the needs of operators and employees, and the interests of workers to persist in the industry. The “Food and Beverage Industry Benchmark Study” launched on August 23rd and will be open through September 23rd.

With this first-of-its-kind research, we hope to set the benchmark from which the broader independent food and beverage industry can progress. The findings from this study will help identify the root causes and underlying challenges that culinary professionals face in advancing their careers and allow for the design of programs that support employers and employees throughout their career.

The survey should take approximately 14 minutes to complete. All responses will remain confidential.
