The Hawaii Restaurant Association Educational Foundation has two fundraising opportunities that you won’t want to miss.
First, the HRAEF has their annual fundraiser where your donations will aid our Hawaii ProStart Program and our future workforce and foodservice industry. However, due to COVID, we are having a virtual fundraiser this year instead.
Currently ten local high schools (including on Maui and Hawaii island!) are participating in this awesome culinary arts program, and the exciting news is that we have a few more high schools looking at our program.
If you donate $25 dollars or more, you will receive a free t-shirt.

The second opportunity is to purchase $25 – $50 gift codes for DoorDash on the HRAEF website. Proceeds go to help the local Hawaii restaurant industry and the Prostart Culinary Education Programs in Hawaii.

The monies that the HRAEF receives from these donation programs go to the HRAEF Scholarship fund, plus help purchase equipment and other supplies that our local High Schools use to educate Hawaii’s food workers, chefs and leaders of tomorrow.
