Experts Fly in for Hawaii Restaurant Digital Marketing Workshop on November 12

Hawaii’s top restaurant digital marketers and expert guest speakers will share best practices to drive your reservations and sales at the Hawaii Restaurant Digital Marketing Workshop to be held in Honolulu on November 12, 2019. Special discount rate for HRA members!

In recent years consumer dining trends have been changing and that pace of change is steadily increasing, linked in part to the smart-phone revolution that provides millions of us with affordable real-time access to the internet. Recent research indicates that 70% of diners are now looking online to plan their next meal, whether ordering it for delivery to their home or choosing a place to dine out. In either case, the research also shows that most people consider up to four restaurants before deciding, and 73% of dining happens within two hours of their search. Today, digital decision-making accounts for between 18% and 22% of restaurant total sales, and that is projected to grow by more than 33% over the next three years.

To learn about the new decision-making habits of dining consumers; the must do’s and please don’ts; the best key performance indicators that drive revenue; how to optimize and track conversions, and how to become and stay “Cravable”, Food Gurus and digi-Vortex are hosting a one-day workshop featuring Washington DC-based guest speaker Adam Hasley, Director of Advocacy Research & Insights at the National Restaurant Association, plus a team of digital marketing experts from Google, OpenTable. TripAdvisor, Yahoo and Yelp.

Following the Workshop, a special Meet the Experts Pau Hana will give attendees an opportunity to talk directly to the experts, and to network with fellow industry colleagues.
