[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On June 27th the HRA Educational Foundation held a two hole fundraiser at the 12th Annual HRA Golf Tournament at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club.
It was a great day on the course for golfers and a perfect opportunity to inform folks about the important educational initiatives in which the Educational Foundation is currently involved.
On Par 3 Hole B4, Hawaii Junior Golfers hit the first shot and the team hit zero from there. The junior golfers had a 100% success rate in hitting the green, which helped the team score either a hole in one or birdie.
Par 3 Hole A8 featured Drive for Dollars, hosted by HMAA and EF board member Naomi Azama, and featured trick shot expert Mike Hogan in a similar format – hitting the drive in a unique fashion to get close to the pin; where the ball lies, the team hit from zero.
HRAEF raised over $1,100 thanks to the generosity of the players and teams supporting the mission of the EF and the Hawaii Pro Start high school culinary program currently taught in 12 Hawaii High Schools – with expansion plans in the works.
