Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo Recap

On July 11 and 12, 2018 the Hawaii Restaurant Association participated in the Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality & Foodservice Expo.

The HRA booth was front and center at the Expo entrance, as we greeted all of the attendees.

Thanks to our booth marketing partners: Sanikleen, ProTouch, Piper Products, Open Table and Food Gurus who proudly displayed their products and services in the HRA booth.

HRA Allied Member WHERE Hawaii Booth

This year’s expo had the largest turnout ever according to Douglas Trade Shows. Many mainland companies fly their reps and products in for this show, as it is a great opportunity for restaurants and Allied members to meet, mingle and close deals.

Also occurring at the Expo, the HRA board of directors meeting was held on Wednesday afternoon. This was the first meeting of the newly elected board, and over 40 board members were in attendance.

On Wednesday after the Board Meeting and the Expo, HRA hosted a Pau Hana Paina in the Pikake Room. Over 200 HRA members, guests and Expo vendors gathered as HRA showed our own brand of Island Hospitality with food, drinks and prizes.

HRA held an EXPO Pau Hana party on Wednesday evening in the Pikake Room.
