Award-winning Chef Michael Mina brings STRIPSTEAK to Waikiki at the International Market Place. STRIPSTEAK Waikiki presents an evocative and modern twist on the classic American steakhouse that reflects the best of Hawaiian flavors and hospitality.
Waikiki marks the third location of the STRIPSTEAK brand, offering a refined yet edgy approach to the steakhouse experience. At the helm, Executive Chef Ben Jenkins will oversee Chef Mina’s innovative menu, bold in flavor and diverse in inspiration it will showcase highly seasonal and ever-evolving global offerings. Hand-sliced cuts of prized Japanese and American beef are the star of the show, prepared in Chef Mina’s signature preparation–slow poached in butter then finished on a wood-fired grill. The freshest seafood sourced daily both locally and from afar on a daily basis, allow for pristine shellfish and raw bar selections, while skewers and small plates, sushi and salads, entrées and sides round out the menu. Not to be missed: “Instant Bacon,” a five spice pork belly, tempura oyster, black pepper soy glaze; the Luau Feast Seafood Tower, with king crab, a whole lobster, sashimi, poke and more and the Robata Skewer Plate. Large party options are also available along with a special Chef’s Tasting Menu.
The 8,600 square foot steakhouse is located on the International Market Place’s third level, Grand Lanai, featuring open-air patio seating, a vibrant bar scene and a private dining room. Evocative of an island volcano lair, the design was inspired by a private hideout of a master villain with modernist architectural details, seductive furnishings and eccentric art.
